Lyndey Milan is a well known food and wine personality.  Ian (Herbie) Hemphill is one of Australia’s foremost culinary spice and herb experts.  Together they have written Just Add Spice, a book which shows us how to spice up simple dishes using herbs and spices.   They show how herbs and spices can bring the simplest of recipes to life, such as spicy pumpkin soup or slow cooked chicken with juniper.  They show how easily spices can be applied to sweet dishes too, from ginger and star anise creme brulee to lemongrass poached pears.  Doesn’t this sound great?  I’m especially looking forward to meeting one of my culinary heroes, Herbie Hemphill.  For bookings, call us here at Bookoccino, 9973 1244.
